The past few weeks we’ve talked a lot about getting involved in your community and giving back in some ways. Maybe you feel a bit stuck, don’t know where to start, or need some ideas/inspiration to get you going. That’s where the book ‘Do Something!: A Handbook for Young Activists’ comes into play.
This book’s goal is to really give you a jump start into doing good for the world. There are quizzes that help you to pinpoint your passions, ideas to show you how to get something done, action plans, and even stories from other people doing big things.
Not sure you immediately want to jump in and buy the handbook? Be sure to check out DoSomething.org. This website is actually one of the biggest organizations in the United States that encourage and supports kids and teens to ‘rock causes they care about’. The whole goal is to get you to believe in yourself, know you are capable, and take action!
Ready to get started? Check out the book here!
